Where Melanie can care for you
Melanie Miller, FNP, is licensed in 17 states. You must be physically located in one of these states at the time of your visit. More states are added as new licensure is approved.
Independent practice, 12 states
In these states Melanie holds full practice authority. She evaluates you, diagnoses, orders and interprets your labs, and prescribes your medication on her own license, without a physician needing to sign off.
Collaborative practice, 5 states
These states require a nurse practitioner to work with a collaborating or supervising physician. Melanie provides the same standard of care here. State law simply requires a physician relationship as part of how that care is delivered.
Some services and prescriptions may be limited by state law.
